We tried to buy most of our baby stuff in gender neutral themes or tones, but it is hard to have a little girl and not have some pink things. One of those things was the cradle bumper. I thought I would use my handy dandy sewing machine and try to cover the bumper for cheaper than buying a new one in "boy" colors.
Before: Too girly for our little man to rest his head.
After: Green and Great--just a perfect first bed for our baby boy.
I just basically made a long pillowcase for the bumper. The hard part was actually making all the ties--I had to make 24 of them.
Now onto the next baby project--I'm going to make a bulletin board using some of Ami's old baseball cards.
