Say Uncle!

3 Months Old

Happy 3 Month Birthday Brady. 

Yay for Mommy taking pictures each month, Boo for Mommy not putting a stuffed animal or other object in the picture so we can see how much he has grown.  I didn't think about it until seeing all three pictures next to each other and the 2 and 3 month pics looking so similar.  Maybe I'll remember for the next kid (just kidding--or am I?).

  Mommy has to go back to work, so this month Brady is getting ready for his first day of school which is July 6th.  He'll be at the JCC with Chloe and all of the teachers can't wait for him to start.  Brady is less and less like a newborn everyday and has even managed to sleep through the night a handful of times, however, he is not very consistant.  One night he'll sleep 7 hours straight, the next he will wake up twice.  He can sit up in his bumbo seat, grab onto a blanket, rattle or your fingers. He smiles so big and is starting to laugh and "talk" in his own baby language.  He can bring both his hands together and sometimes likes to suck on them, but he still has not discovered that he has feet yet.  Tummy time is not his favorite, but he can lift himself up for a bit and then gets tired and ends up face down in his own drool.   He is a good eater and is a strong and solid baby.   No doctor check up this month, but he will go back next month for a visit and more shots.

Brady's Bed

 Mommy finally finished his room.  Green, Blue, Stripes, and Sports are the theme of his room.  To finish the room we mounted a basketball hoop with his name on it.  The exception to the theme is his animal mobile which he loves to look at!  Brady is also sleeping in his very own bed at night and has slept through the night twice. Most of the time he goes down between 9pm-10pm and sleeps until about 3 or 4am, but a quick bite to eat and he is back to bed until 7am or 7:30am.

2 Months Old Already!

Brady is growing so much and is already gained 4 1/2 pounds and grown 2 inches. He weighs 11 lbs 6 oz and is 22 inches long. He is in the 44th percentile in weight and 18th percentile in height.  He is spending more and more time awake and happy =).  He smiles and laughs when you touch his nose.  He has started grasping for objects.   He is not yet sleeping through the night. He is sleeping up to 5 hours at a time but usually goes back to rather quickly after the middle of the night feeding. 

His big sister Chloe enjoys helping him by giving him his binky when he is crying and can't wait for him to be big enough to play.
