We thought this little chubster was going to top the charts when we took him to the doctor for his 4 month check up. He's a solid boy and weighed in at 14 lbs 14 ounces which only puts him in the 32% for weight. He has grown 4.5 inches since birth and is in the 19th percentile for height at 24.5 inches.
Brady celebrated his 4 month birthday by rolling all around. He can roll from back to belly and from belly to back and has started to sleep with his arms out of his swaddle. This caused some disruption in his sleep for a little while, but he is back to going to bed between 8 and 9pm and waking up only once around 3 or 4am most nights.
Brady has also discovered his feet and that he can put his hands and toys in his mouth. He is becoming quite the little talker as well. He is cooing, gurgling, motor-boating, and sometimes doing it quite loudly.
He has a very strong appetite and is still eating about every 2-3 hours. In his first month at school he used up all my frozen breast milk storage and is now having about 25% of his intake as formula.
He gets lots of love from his big sister. She enjoys finding his binky when he drops it and showing him how to play with his toys. She often has long conversations with him that only the two of them can understand.
Brady is also starting to squirm around--not really crawling yet but he can definately move. Often I leave him on his nice comfy blanket and turn around to find him in all sorts of positions. Like on this particular day when he managed to scoot under the futon.
