Playing, babbling, eating, walking, climbing, falling, bleeding, sleeping. These are just some of the activities that little Brady Boo is up to these days. He officially turned 9 months on Christmas Day and weighed in this month at just under 20 pounds and 27 inches and had a perfect bill of health. He is just such a happy little guy and we are treasuring every moment with him. 2012 was going to be the year of the sleeping baby and we spent the first couple nights of the new year trying to ferberize him to help him sleep through the night. A couple of nights of middle of the night crying and us wide awake, but I'm happy to report that he has slept through the night more in 2012 than in all the nights of 2011. Mommy and Daddy thank you Brady! He also took his first steps both at school and at home and we were lucky enough to capture them on video. With those first steps also came the first boo boos. A cut lip that bothered us more that it bothered him. He was such a little trooper through it all. He is starting to eat puffs and enjoys a variety of foods. His favorite is still bananas, but we've introduced potatoes (yellow, red, and even blue), prunes, cauliflower, zucchini, and apricots. He loves playing with all the cars he got for Hanukkah and Christmas, and loves to sleep with his blah blah doggy and little lion. He also loves to play in Chloe's Kitchen and his favorite toy food is a fake corn on the cob. He carries it around with him everywhere. When Chloe's not looking, he gets to play with the alphabet magnets on the fridge. He also has learned how to open cabinets. --oh boy, the fun is just beginning.

Eight is Great!
Brady celebrated his 8th month birthday on Thanksgiving Day and he celebrated with his first taste of Turkey--all mushed together with butternut squash of course. And after 2 weeks of sleepless nights, we are happy to report on the arrival of two bottom teeth. I sort of had a hunch he wouldn't sleep through the night until he was done nursing. He slept through the night one night and then the teething began, but I'm happy to report that last night he slept from 8pm to 7am and so did Mommy and Daddy (well we went to bed at 10:30, but didn't have to get up at 2am and again at 5am).
Brady continues to be a happy smiley baby and is adored by everyone. He laughs and giggles when being tickled and loves to watch his big sister. He is doing to learn so much from her (like how to jump on the couch when mommy isn't looking and how to use crayons on the chalk board)
The baby gate has reappeared in the Kron House as Brady is an explorer and loves to crawl everywhere. When he is not crawling, he is standing and testing his balance. The teachers at school think he'll be walking in another month--OMG is all I can say.
He has started having an interest in toys and will even cry if you take one away from him. He loves his sofie the giraffe teether, pink elephant, and pretty much anything Chloe is playing with at the moment.
He continues to explore new foods, trying turkey, green beans, zucchini, apricots, oatmeal, but his favorite food seems to be bananas.
Happy 8 month birthday Brady Samuel!

What happens when Mom is not looking
Brady has become quite active and we have realized our house needs more baby proofing.
Every chance he gets, he is crawling over, under, in between everything.

Little Devil
Brady had a great time at his first Rose Bowl tailgate. Too bad it was just for the ASU at UCLA game and not the real thing. Hopefully he won't have to wait too long to witness his first Rose Bowl.

Pumpkin Time!
Brady had alot of fun celebrating halloween at the Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili & Pumpkin Festival.
Dressed in his Buzz Lightyear halloween costume, Brady loved standing next to the pumpkin and
feeling the straw.
